Television Show of the Week #2

Originally intended to be a historical education show for children, this classic british science fiction show has been cherished by people around the world for the last five decades.  This show is one of the most important and influential british shows, ranking with Monty Python's Flying Circus, Planet Earth and Blackadder.  It centers around a timelord - a member of the timelord race from the distant planet, Gallifrey, a race that has unlocked the key to instantaneous time and space travel -  known as The Doctor, who travels around in a stolen biotic spaceship, known as the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), and saves species that are being mistreated by other species, throughout the universe.  He does not use weapons, saving planets and races through only the power of his mind, and the tools he finds around him.  Because this show has 798 episodes, running for 33 seasons (not to mention specials, spin offs, and the countless amount of books, audio adventures and other media  adventures of the show), it can be hard to find where to start.  Personally, I would suggest to start with the second season after the hiatus, then go to the first, and then the third, fourth, and so on.  If you try to start with the first run of the show, you may get lost, so I would start at the beginnings of a certain doctor's reign, preferably Tom Baker, as he is generally viewed as the best doctor, and he is my favorite doctor.  DO NOT start with Collin Baker or in the middle of a season.  My favorite episode is a Tom Baker episode, known as The Deadly Assassin Part 3.
